This is week #2 in my 52 week Self-Portrait project. One thing I already know about myself is that even though I am an early riser, I still have a difficult time speaking pleasantly or functioning with any semblance or normalcy until I have had two decent sized cups of coffee in the morning. I generally make a pit stop, brew my coffee and check my Flickr contacts while my coffee brews. Once I hear that familiar tone signaling the completion of my pot of revitalizing formula, I pour myself a cup and begin the slow transcendence into the waking process. By the end of my second cup, I feel that I can shave without cutting myself to pieces and shower without drowning while standing up. So my first thought in the morning.....First things FIRST! COFFEE!!!
