Prison of Sorts

            Are we really trying to keep others out, or are we just keeping ourselves fenced in. I remember a time when front doors were left unlocked....all night. I remember a time when since it was hot outside, you left the car windows down. I remember a time when your neighbor could just walk into your open garage and borrow a tool.

What ever happened to those days. I really feel sorry for kids today. They will never know the kind of friendships we knew as kids. Running down to the creek with a friend to play in the water and fish for crawdads. Riding their bikes across town to a friends house. Times, they are changing....have changed.

Everything is too complicated these days. Just let me go back to a simpler time.
