            Two breeding Great egrets greeting each other on their nest in the early morning light at the Venice Area Audubon Rookery, Venice, Florida.  The Venice Area Audubon Rookery is most active during the nesting season, from November to May. It provides excellent views of many bird species nesting in their natural habitat.
