Grey Heron - a photo on Flickriver

Grey Heron

            Came across a surprisingly approachable Heron yesterday. Still wary but reasonably comfortable with me being there, as long as there was a bit of distance involved. I really enjoyed spending time observing it, especially when I got to video it stalking for food, which I'll upload when I get chance. Its all about the encounter for me and photos are always a bonus. Nice to get both tho! :-)
