View from Rocks of Sharon to Steptoe Butte

            I took this photo yesterday while hiking at the top of the Rocks of Sharon just south of Spokane, WA.  From the Rocks of Sharon you can see across the Palouse all the way to Steptoe Butte a 3,612' quartzite monolith nearly 50 miles away. If you look closely, you can even make out windmills in the Steptoe area.
