Sunset Plus Fifteen - a photo on Flickriver

Spring Equinox.

This atmospheric photograph captures a hazy twilight over the town of Alloa in Clackmannanshire, looking westward towards Stirling. The recently set sun glows threw soft clouds which diffuse the light, creating a gradient of oranges, yellows, and towards purples and blues higher in the sky. The Ochil Hills appear as layered silhouettes, fading into the misty horizon, with the distinctive shape of Dumyat dominating. The illumination from the urban streets and building are appear as sharp spots of bright lights between the land and sky.
