Was getting all nostalgic remembering the lockdown 'daily exercise' routes we would take around here. Nearly four years back now (March 23rd 2020 was when it all went into pause mode in Scotland) but signs about social distancing and what-not still spotted here and there. What also did catch my eye on yet another dreich dander was how so many of the buildings and other structures are coated in black fungus, a by-product of all the #whisky bonds locally (from the 'Angel's Share' vapours they give up to the atmosphere). You can make out some of them behind the trees in the shots with the gang of swans near the River Devon. The rain may be accentuating it all, but nearly every photo I took on a 5 mile walk around the area has signs of it. Not pretty at all, and a right PITA to keep on top of once it starts to build up on your house and cars.
