Shiny Toy - a photo on Flickriver

I absolutely love the way HDR handles metallic reflections. I saw this motorcycle at the Austin Kite Festival and shot a quick handheld bracket which I merged in Photoshop, tone mapped in Photomatix and duotoned in Lightroom to give this result.

While I'm typing, apologies for the slow posting recently. I'm getting ready for an exhibition which hangs in a couple of weeks and most of my time has been taken up preparing images for that and ordering framing supplies. I also bought a couple of new toys (not as shiny as this one) and I'm working my way through the 444 page manual as quickly as I can. I've yet to do anything serious with them but you can expect to see some FX loveliness at 14mm sometime in the very near future (was that hint obscure enough?).
