A Pleasant Surprise - a photo on Flickriver

Having not seen my barnies all year I decided to set out in search of them.

Sadly they were no wear to be seen but then i saw a large bird flying low in the moorland grasses. my heart beat fast could it be a hen harrier as they have been seen there.

Suddenly this beauty launched into the air to entertain me.
