Glen Cochill, Perthshire - a photo on Flickriver

Six hut circles was found close to the main road here between Amulree and Aberfeldy; near to where Wade's road crosses the main road. 100 yds W of the road lies the ring cairn capping a small knoll. The remains of a crude boulder wall runs for 100' E from it. South again is a small cairnfield of some dozen cairns. A short distance SW of it, over a small stream lies another small cairnfield. 

Around the structures described above there are many small cairns, numerous stretches of bank and a small area of rig-and-furrow. The heather-covered cairns measure up to about 4m in diameter and tend to be grouped in small clusters. Some are clustered along the route of the military road and may consist of debris from its construction, but others are more likely to indicate prehistoric clearance.
