A tale of two graveyards - a photo on Flickriver

            Melbourne General Cemetery, Parkville, Victoria, 

It struck me, visiting the Melbourne General Cemetery a few months ago, that the juxtaposition of the Melbourne CBD skyline and the historic cemetery actually portrayed two graveyards, one historic where many members of an earlier (and also more recent) Melbourne community are buried and the other the graveyard of our 21st century economy as a result of the pandemic. This is not just a Melbourne thing but will affect every such CBD around the globe as they are hollowed out by COVID-19. We will be entering a changed world so what will it look like and how can we shape it? 

I took this yesterday on another walk through this wonderful old cemetery and I will be doing more.
