Back to basics.

My second Leica was an M2 with a Cron 40, and through all the gear shuffling i've been through the past few years I really do think I got it right that time. No M6 RF patch flare, no annoying meter, no jamming when it's cold, no worrying about chipping paint, no worrying about failing shutter, or LCD screens or dead pixels..

This time, I have a button rewind M2 which I enjoy a lot, since there's no self-timer lever in the way, just had this M2 CLA'd by Youxin Ye, who cleaned and lubricated the whole camera so it feels brand new! He also applied Aki-Asahi 4008 skin on it, replacing the chipping Vulcanite on it. I think it looks wonderful.

I also have a Cron 40, which I CLA'd, making the focus smooth but firm, and finally putting the remaining HeavyStar V2/V3 Summicron 35mm focusing tab on it. It was super easy and makes handling the 40 Cron a dream.
