Newton Woods Bluebells - a photo on Flickriver

            It turned out that I didn't have long to grab a shot as the sun disappeared behind clouds just after I arrived and then it rained! A glorious sight to see though. It seemed an age since I'd shot a landscape and I'd forgotten what to do! I could have framed a little better but was rushing as rainclouds approached! Roseberry Topping overlooks the woods which are an ocean of blue at this time of year. Wild Garlic also flourishes and Cuckoos will sing as you walk. The Eagle-eyed among you may spot the little shooting lodge below the center of the peak which is known as the Yorkshire Matterhorn because of its distinctive shape.
