Silence is Golden! (In Explore) - a photo on Flickriver

            I took a similar shot, in lockdown #1 and called it "Ghost Town" it featured in Explore and was fairly popular. I mentioned how strange it seemed to have nobody in sight and to be able to capture the Abbey steps with no tourists. The 199 steps wind upward from the old town to Saint Mary's church with its cemetary and then to the Abbey. As we walked back to the car this afternoon the light turned golden as the sun began to set, once again not a soul in sight. We're trying to make the most of our exercise periods, during lockdown, with hand held shots as we walk! Always flattering to feature in Explore, thank you for looking and for your kind comments and faves.
