A Merry Dance.

            I quickly realised that the males were too energetic to capture. I kept my eyes open for a female but they were either in untidy grass or under dead Bracken. To identify a Fritillary is easier if you can see the under-wing and these have panels of pearl white around the centre spot. I find the underside more attractive, these remind me of Tiffany lamp shades!
