Deutsches Museum Flugwerft Schleißheim - Cessna 195 01

            The Cessna 190 and 195 Businessliner are a family of light single radial engine powered, conventional landing gear equipped, general aviation aircraft which were manufactured by Cessna between 1947 and 1954.

The 195 model was also used by the United States Air Force, United States Army, and Army National Guard as a light transport and utility aircraft under the designations LC-126/U-20.

Of this type, 1947 to 1954,890 specimens were built. The American company Cessna is one of the oldest manufacturers of aircraft. Its founder, Clyde V. Cessna, built his first aircraft in 1911. In 1927 he founded his own company with the Cessna Aircraft Corporation. With more than 178,000 units, it has produced the most aircraft worldwide, mainly single-engine high-deckers, such as the type 195 on display. The aircraft of the Cessna company still dominate the market today as school and passenger aircraft.
