The Fens

Trees along a pathway in the Back Bay Fens Park, Boston MA, one of the Emerald Necklace 'jewels', a series of urban parks designed and landscaped in the 1880's by Fredrick Law Olmsted. Actually, had I turned the camera slightly to the right, rising above the trees are the stadium lights of Fenway Park, home to the Boston Red Sox baseball team, the origin of the Ball Park's name being its proximity to this locale.
