roam where you want to - a photo on Flickriver

in my ear

vehicle camping for weeks on end means conserving fresh water and taking a lot of babywipe baths and going to bed feeling a little less than fresh

during my roams in the sonaran landscape the wildflowers were abundant and i was hiking naked or nearly so, my skin began to retain the dust and pollen from the local flora...as i lay me down to sleep i was noticing a different aroma, something new and a bit spicy, not the usual stinks associated with trips like this

at first i thought it was just regular sweat and dirt, but that was the oily base for this new perfume of the sonoran and i began to appreciate the textures of this new level of assimilation, it was quite wonderful, like having an even deeper connection to the earth... i was sad as it dissipated after i left the sonoran

has anyone else experienced this in their travels?
