Waiting for the Players - a photo on Flickriver

            Few SOOC shots with RE, Auto Topcor 2.5cmm f3.5.

Tokyo Kogaku RE, Auto Topcor lenses were, and are even today elite pieces of optical and mechanical design. Most of them are designed in the first half of 60ies. 
Auto Topcor 2.5cmm f3.5 is sharp lens even by todays standards. Contrast is excellent out of camera. 
Colour rendering reminds me of Fuji colour films. Red and blues are beautiful, saturated just enough. On the other side, most of the pictures where green and yellows dominate, I will convert to monochrome. 
It has very short MFD and even without DIY macro focusing helicoid that I use as exacta adapter,  one could comme quite close and squeeze some nice bokeh out of 25mm.
