Costa Hummingbirds During Visit to The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens (Palm Desert, California) - August 2nd, 2024

            Early morning visit to The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert, California.  I was there when the zoo opened at 7am and left around 10am when it was getting over 100 degrees.  In Palm Springs for the 2024 Barbie Convention.  From their site - "The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens has been a beloved institution in Southern California for over 50 years. An Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) accredited zoo and botanical garden, The Living Desert represents the desert environments of North America, Australia, and Africa with more than 150 species, 1,200 protected acres, and miles of hiking trails."  It is located at 47900 Portola Ave, Palm Desert, CA 92260.  Wonderful place to visit.  The animals I pulled out are not in the exhibits, but just the local inhabitants.  So glad Joe and Kevin told me to go here.
