The Fast Train to China... - a photo on Flickriver

            I was going to call this shot 'Passport to Pimlico' after the famous B&W Ealing Comedy Film. But I chose the tag line used by Emirates Airways on their advertising on the side of this Gatwick Express, leaving Victoria Station, instead. The Iconic landmark (and empty shell) of Battersea Power Station can be seen in the background. 

I finally found this vantage point after a bit of a walk around Pimlico/Victoria when I came up on the Previous Saturday for the Golden Arrow departure from Victoria Station that morning. Definitely one of my favourite spots now... At rush hour this view is chock full of EMUs of all colours and types arriving and departing Victoria Station.
