This truck Mercedes L2626 NG of 1974 with the conspicuous advertising for the bargain-sale delivers shoes to the Vögele branches. The ladies on the street look very interested.
In 1922 Karl Vögele founded a shoemaker's shop in Uznach (St. Gallen, Switzerland). In 1955 he began with the shoe mail-order outlet. In 1956 he opened the first shoe store in Chur. Karl Vögele AG (Inc.) was founded in 1960. Until 2018, it was a family business with about 100 branches and about 1700 employees.
The Karl Vögele Inc. is not to be confused with the Charles Vögele Fashion, which was founded by a son of Karl Vögele.
The 1/87 truck from Herpa was arranged by me with the eye-catching advertising and equipped with a driver.

Dieser Lastwagen Mercedes L2626 NG von 1974 mit der auffälligen Werbung für den Ausverkauf liefert Schuhe in die Vögele Filialen. Die Damen auf der Strasse schauen schon sehr interessiert.
1922 gründete Karl Vögele in Uznach (St. Gallen, Schweiz) eine Schuhmacherei. 1955 begann er mit dem Schuhversandhandel. 1956 eröffnete er das erste Schuhgeschäft in Chur. Die Karl Vögele AG wurde 1960 gegründet. Bis 2018 war es ein Familienunternehmen mit ungefähr 100 Filialen und ca. 1700 Mitarbeiter.
Die Karl Vögele AG ist nicht zu verwechseln mit der Charles Vögele Mode, die von einem Sohn von Karl Vögele gründete wurde.
Der 1:87 Lastwagen von Herpa wurde von mir mit der blickheischenden Werbung versehen und mit einem Fahrer ausgestattet.
