Rattlesnake Ridge Sunset - a photo on Flickriver

This is a shot taken from a hilltop, located just outside of the Southridge area of Kennewick, Washington. There was some moisture in the air, allowing some nice clouds to form. This shot is looking down the Rattlesnake Ridge. Thompson Hill is in the front (with the trees on top) and Little Badger is behind that, Badger Mountain is behind that and the largest mountain along the horizon is Rattlesnake Mountain. Ever since I found this spot while chasing a thunderstorm to the south of the Tri-Cities, I keep coming back. It offers a great view all the way around; the Tri-Ciites are to the north, Rattlesnake Ridge to the west, Jump Off Joe to the south and Wallula Gap and the Snake River to the east. I have found this to be nice spot for evenings and sunsets. :) It offers a particularly great view of Jump Off Joe for sure. The only downside is that compositions are quite limited, especially when the flowers have died, so I added something of my own to the comp. :)
