Loch Tarsan Ruins 2 (Explored) - a photo on Flickriver

            A few weeks ago I was on a hillside track and saw the ruins of this old croft in the background. I resolved to photograph it one day, which I eventually did last weekend. There were only 2 ways to get to it, either by kayak or trekking over the hill. I chose the latter and trekked about 5 miles from Glen Massan over the hill and through the forest to get to it. I believe that the ruins are the last remaining evidence of a settlement lost when the loch was created by the construction of the Loch Tarsan dam.
