            Another day, another lighthouse. We were in the neighborhood, dropping off cookies (the ones from Day 36's photo) to some friends, so we stopped by the Marblehead Lighthouse, the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the Great Lakes. This was my scenic-location-of-the-month during the 2011 365 ("Here We Go Again").

This is a new view for me -- inside the keeper's house fence, without a soul around. Before, the gate has been open only during open houses, when there are lots of people milling around. 

The temperature was 16 degrees F (-9 degrees C) and it was Monday morning, which explains why we had the place to ourselves.
