Red Circle - a photo on Flickriver

Red Circle

            The red of this wall immediately captivated me. The clear structure - two parallel lines at the top and bottom of the picture, the circle in the middle and the four struts arranged at right angles in the circle - presents a harmonious overall composition. The shadows and the cracks in the old concrete, the moss and mold stains on the wall testify to the age of the wall and contrast beautifully with the vibrant, strong red.
