Golden Light - a photo on Flickriver

Golden Light

            Cool, late August morning in the blue ridge mountain foothills of upstate South Carolina, USA.  Sun is slightly obscured behind the clouds, with sunrays radiating from it at lower center.  Golden light illuminates the view and highlights the clouds, while pale blue sky shows through at top.

Minimal editing and crop.  I'm not completely pleased with the balance in this capture as a symmetrical crop leaves it a bit heavy on the left side, but I wanted to share nonetheless.  I hope you enjoy :)
