BNSF 7055 Thompson 1 Aug 05 - a photo on Flickriver

            BNSF 7055 and another Cascade Green SD40-2 lead a re-routed stack train south on the Hillsboro Sub in the tiny town of Thompson, ND.

I was still relatively new to the Red River Valley of North Dakota at the time, but these double stacks were odd to see routing Minot - Grand Forks - Fargo.  Regardless, it was nice to have more trains and more variety!

Hard to believe this was 20 years ago already, but nothing can stop the steady march of time.  I'm just glad I got into the hobby when standard cabs still had a say at the front of trains.  The double stack behind this train had a H2 Dash 9 which was ubiquitous at the time but these days is more in line with what catching a Cascade Green SD40-2 on the point was back then.
