Earless in Inverleith - a photo on Flickriver

            This little chap has no ears. The loss seems so symmetrical I think he may have been born without them. He looks in good health.

I was stalking him in as he scampered around, waiting for a good posed pause for to focus this manual 85mm lens, very critical at f1.4. It was sunset in the Botanic Garden, the light was dim, and the guards were blowing whistles and shouting "closing time!"

He paused briefly here in profile. As I pressed the shutter he heard me, swung his head towards me and out of focus, and scampered off. 

I know where he lives. I'll keep an eye out for him.
