Snow storm passing to north east of Edinburgh

            Taken from half way up Arthur's Seat, on the circuitous version of the direct north face route which deviates west at the top of the zig zag path to go round the sides of Crow Hill to approach the summit less steeply.

The roundabout at bottom left exits past the Commonwealth Pool into the city. The climbers at the right have left the circuitous path to go straight up the snow slope to the top of Crow Hill. Just beside them on the horizon is the dark slanting front of a heavy snow fall heading westwards. Below it can be seen a fragment of the highest part of the cliffs of Salisbury Crags.
