            Thon Wheel Thingy illuminates the Scott Monument. Ancient and modern methods of reaching for the sky. The Ferris wheel along with other colourful funfair stuff turns up in Princes Street Gardens every winter.

Technical: probably as far as a single exposure (of mine) can be pushed (by me) to catch both highlight and shadow detail without going into tone mapping or HDR.
