Volucelle transparente ( Volucella pellucens )

            la Volucelle transparente, est une espèce d'insecte diptère de la famille des Syrphidés, une famille qui est particulièrement habile en vol et pratique souvent le vol stationnaire.
La femelle de cette espèce trompe les Bourdons ou les Guêpes par des hormones appropriées pour pondre ses œufs à l'intérieur des nids, sur l'extérieur des alvéoles de «papier».
La larve au sortir de l'œuf perce les cloisons de papier des alvéoles et se développe en parasite d'une larve de guêpe. Plus tard, elle retraverse la paroi de papier et va se nourrir de cadavres de guêpes accumulés dans le fond du nid.
Elle hiverne dans le sol et au printemps se métamorphose en pupe. Elle émerge de la pupe, quitte le sol à la recherche de nectar de fleurs (ronces et ombellifères) contribuant ainsi à leur pollinisation, et d'un partenaire sexuel.

the Transparent Volucelle, is a species of dipteran insect of the family Syrphidae, a family that is particularly skilled in flying and often hovers.
The female of this species deceives bumble bees or wasps with hormones suitable for laying eggs inside the nests, on the outside of the "paper" cells.
The larvae emerging from the egg pierce the paper septa of the alveoli and develop into a parasite of a wasp larva. Later, she crosses the wall of paper and will feed on dead wasps accumulated in the bottom of the nest.
It winters in the soil and in the spring turns into a pupa. It emerges from the pupa, leaving the soil in search of nectar of flowers (brambles and umbelliferae) contributing to their pollination, and a sexual partner.
