Fauvette babillarde ( Sylvia curruca )

            La Fauvette babillarde est une espèce de passereaux migrateurs appartenant à la famille des Sylviidae. Très courante en Europe, mais restant discrète, elle affectionne les espaces couverts de buissons. C'est une espèce nicheuse européenne, absente seulement du grand nord. Elle se trouve en Picardie du mois d'avril au mois de septembre. Elle hiverne en Egypte, en Asie mineure et au Proche-Orient.

Lors de la parade nuptiale, les deux oiseaux se poursuivent ou s'affrontent en criant. Le mâle gonfle ses plumes, bat des ailes, étale la queue et titube comme s'il était blessé.
 
Elle affectionne les bocages et haies épineuses, les dunes arbustives,... mais aussi les parcs et les jardins.
Elle est présente dans toute la Picardie, mais reste peu commune.

The Warbler is a species of migratory passerines belonging to the family Sylviidae. Very common in Europe, but remaining discreet, she likes areas covered with bushes. It is a European breeding species, absent only from the far north. It is in Picardie from April to September. It winters in Egypt, Asia Minor and the Middle East.

During the courtship, the two birds continue or fight each other shouting. The male inflates his feathers, flaps his wings, spreads his tail and staggers as if he were wounded.
 
She is fond of groves and thorny hedges, shrubby dunes ... but also parks and gardens.
It is present throughout Picardy, but remains uncommon.
