Gene & Georgetti Restaurant, Mob Hangout

            In 1941, Gene Michelotti and Alfredo Federighi opened this Italian steakhouse just north of Downtown Chicago. Alfredo was nicknamed "Georgetti" after a well-known Italian cyclist, hence the name "Gene & Georgetti."

G&G is a famous mob hangout. Teamster official Dominic Senese ate here before receiving a shotgun blast to his on face January 21, 1988.

It's also hosted celebrities like Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope, & Lucille Ball. Tom Hanks attended the "Road To Perdition" wrap party here.
