The castle of Pierreclos in spring (explored)

            This superb medieval fortress was built from the 12th century. We can see in particular a beautiful Romanesque tower from the 12th century. The nave of this church has disappeared, because it was burned during the wars of religion in the xvith century. It is nowadays the chapel of the castle. It was the village church, before the construction of another church inside the village.

Le château de Pierreclos au printemps

Cette superbe forteresse médiévale a été construite à partir du 12ème siècle. On voit bien notamment une belle tour romane du 12ème siècle. La nef de cette église a disparu, car elle a été brûlée pendant les guerres de religion au 16ème siècle. C'est de nos jours la chapelle du château. C'était l'église du village, avant la construction d'une autre église à l'intérieur du village.
