Milky Way over Badlands National Park, South Dakota

27 full frames (3 rows, 9 shots/row, each 15 degrees apart in a row) were stitched together in CS6 using Photomerge, then rotated by 1 degree CW, cropped, and added the watermark. No other adjustments were made. The number of frames might be excessive, but that is what I took and experimented for future work. The butte in the middle was lit accidentally by the headlight of a car in a far distance (I took three shots of the same frame with one dark, one dark red, and the above image). The light on the left side of the lit butte behind the silhouette might be caused by a lightning storm moving toward the NP. I do not know what the green light is.
