Oratorio di San Cristoforo Volterra - a photo on Flickriver

            L'oratorio fu costruito dalla famiglia Arrighi nel Cinquecento. Oggi si conserva la struttura del Seicento; ad una sola sala, è interamente realizzato a mattoni a faccia vista, senza intonaco. Vi è conservato un affresco raffigurante la Madonna con il Bambino attribuito al volterrano Mariotto di Andrea.

The oratory was built by the Arrighi family in the sixteenth century. Today the structure of the seventeenth century is preserved; with a single room, it is entirely made of exposed brick, without plaster. There is preserved a fresco depicting the Madonna and Child attributed to Mariotto di Andrea from Volterra
