a little warning

Some real miniature madness at the uncharacteristically fog-free Point Reyes lighthouse.

Speaking of little - as we were sitting on the hillside demolishing some bread & cheese, we saw a juvenile grey whale mooching about near eleven mile beach. It'd duck under the water and resurface noisily and majestically near seals in what appeared to be some sort of elaborate prank. The seals, presumably annoyed, would disappear from the scene and go somewhere else where they wouldn't be harassed by a bored cetacean.

All that said, it was the first time that I've seen a whale in the wild - I was a little excited :)
