Landrover 4-wide - a photo on Flickriver

Landrover 4-wide

            After building three Landrovers in 6-wide, I wanted to try my hand on a smaller car, that fits better in my pocket.
The starting point were the big wheels, as I didn't like the oversized tyres I had to use for the 6-wides. Holding the car together via brackets and roof would be okay for a static model for your desk, but not for outdoors photography if you don't want to spend your time losing parts in the mud. Due to that added plate I cannot fit a whole minifig inside, although it's still too high. Might have used a lower windscreen, but that would have resulted in different windows in he back, which I simply don't have available right now.
Only afterwards I looked how other people built this in 4-wide, and this isn't too bad.
