            On April 9, 1982. NCB No.5 can be seen.

What I seem to remember is that at this time coal was brought here from elsewhere to go through the Rexco plant on the right, as this was the only Rexco plant in Scotland. There was a wagon tipper for unloading, identified by the black/yellow wasp stripes.

I had several relations that worked in the colliery, and we often walked up the line from the white gates crossing at Oakley.
