South Fork Landscape - a photo on Flickriver

            Occasionally, I like to look back through the archives and see what I was doing on the same day in previous years. On 4-January-2019 I found myself along the banks of the South Fork of the Yuba River looking back upstream at the historical covered bridge. My son and I were on a hike to Point Defiance, the confluence of the three forks of the Yuba. As you can see it was a lovely winter day in the Foothills.

For perspective: today it is raining heavily in the Foothills and the wind is blowing a hooley-- but what the heck, I'm not going anywhere anyway.
