The Open Road - a photo on Flickriver

The Open Road

            Nevada State Route 447 is a roller coaster like road that cuts through the middle of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Reservation. This is the rural American West in all its glory.  Other vehicles are far and few between here. Still you have to stay alert. If you get to gawking too much at the scenery you may find yourself in a rough patch, and I'm guessing that the nearest tow truck is a lot further away then you want it to be. There's a lot of wide open scenery to digest while you wait though. I did think I spied a couple of skeletons by the side of the road.
