            Pelicurá

Está a 60 kilómetros de la ciudad cabecera del partido, de los cuales 56 hay que transitarlos por camino de tierra. Su nombre proviene de un vocablo araucano con el que se conocía el arroyo que pasaba por allí, y que quiere decir “piedra y barro” Sus primeros habitantes eran indios puelches y después voroganos, originarios de Chile. La estación de tren se inauguró en 1906 y pertenece al Ferrocarril General Roca en su ramal entre Darregueira hasta Bahía Blanca. No presta servicios de pasajeros desde 1978, sin embargo por sus vías corren trenes de carga, a cargo de la empresa Ferroexpreso Pampeano, ademas se crearon una escuela y almacenes de ramos generales, el pueblo se halla con muy poca población estable, lo que hace muy complicado su presente, a pesar de esto Pelicurá tiene una importante masa poblacional en su ejido rural, aunque en la parte urbana la realidad es difícil.

It is 60 kilometers from the capital city of the party, of which 56 must be traveled by dirt road. Its name comes from an Araucanian word with which the stream that passed by was known, and which means "stone and mud". Its first inhabitants were puelches Indians and then Voroganos, originally from Chile. The train station was inaugurated in 1906 and belongs to the General Roca Railroad on its branch between Darregueira to Bahía Blanca. It does not provide passenger services since 1978, however its routes run freight trains, run by the company Ferroexpreso Pampeano, also created a school and general store warehouses, the town is with very little stable population, which makes very complicated its present, in spite of this Pelicurá has an important population mass in its rural ejido, although in the urban part the reality is difficult.
