Tribute to the e39 m5 : wide angle style

What a BEAUTIFUL sky today, so had to run out on lunch and snap a few pictures. I had just washed the car the night before (and it's been hibernating in the garage for the past few month or so) so whatever better time for some 'nooners'?

I've had this car coming up on 2 years and roughly have only put 7,000 miles or so on it. I live 2 miles from work, and if it's raining or snowing (which is A TON in Cincinnati) I'm driving the winter beater (audi a4 2.8L quattro at the moment) or the bike when it's super hot (cbr 929rr) so this thing hardly gets any miles on it. I will tell you, that when I do get to drive it, it is pure joy!

I stopped by my friends at Enthusiast Auto ( www.EnthusiastAuto.com ) and we talked the market value of the e39 m5 and how it's raised...but after sitting down and thinking about, there's not another car that i'd want to drive. Luxury, power, performance, handling, audio, I could go on and on...

ANYWAY : photography wise I was simply testing out the Canon 15mm f2.8 and the Canon 17-40 F4 on my 5dmk2. I've had the 17-40 (actually i was shooting MY previous model that I sold) but since I had crop cameras it felt a bit different. I really WANTED to like the 15mm, but it may be a bit wide for my liking...Plus I don't like the fact that it doesn't have filter threads (which scares me) and the Lens Cap kinda feels loose in my bag. I may end up with the 17-40 as I just sold my Tokina 12-24 as it only worked from 16mm-24mm.
