Nung Nung Waterfall, Bali, Indonesia

This is Nung Nung Waterfall North of Petang. Seems like few people visit this one. I have only seen one website giving directions and our driver still did not know how to get there. That website says it is 10km through the jungle, that is wrong. The whole hike is probably less than .5km, but the catch is that it is all stairs going down to the valley floor. These are the falls where my mom rinsed her hands in the water and a leech grabbed on.

Today we are stuck in Taipei. Seems that there is/was a typhoon Fanapi in Taiwan last night with winds up to 198mph.

We were not aware until we checked in during departure at Bali. The flight was uneventful until we got to Taiwan. We had some good turbulence that caused some people to shriek and cry. We did a large circle off the east coast, then headed north for more. After a few the captain told us at least 30-45 minutes more. By this time people were puking. The captain did try for a landing. We got as far as flaps and gear down on final before doing a go around, followed by more circles. Then we diverted to Hong Kong about 1.25 hours away. At Hong Kong we parked for at least an hour without A/C while we refueled. We then headed back to Taiwan and landed around 3:30am. A 5 hour flight turned into 11 hours and we missed our next two connections. China Airlines was kind enough to put us in a nice Novotel hotel, but they are keeping our passports and we can not leave nor do we have our check baggage. First we were told that we would leave at 4pm, which has turned into midnight on an EVA Air plane. So another 12 hour flight, a stay in LA followed by another short hop and we will be home.
