            El Oro Parakeet, Perico de Orcés, Pyrrhura orcesi, 23 - 24 cm. / 9 - 9.5 in. RARE and ENDEANGERED.  Very local in foothill and lower sub-tropical forest.. A recently discovered species.  There are somewhere between 250 - 999 individuals remaining due to habitat loss.
