EUPHORBIA 0842 - a photo on Flickriver

EUPHORBIA 0842

            Aveloz, Tree Spurge, Pencil Tree, Milk Bush, Euphorbia tirucalli.   Wide distribution in black clay soil in Africa.   Milky latex is irritating to the skin and mucosa and is toxic.  Has been looked medicinally (little success) and also for using the latex for fuel which purportedly works and would be less expensive than ethanol production.
