Wat zijn akkerranden?

Akkerranden zijn drie, zes of negen meter brede stroken met bloemen of planten die een akker omzomen. Die breedte van drie, zes of negen meter is afgeleid van de werkende breedte van landbouwmachines en... blijkt in de praktijk een juiste maat te zijn voor een natuurlijke omlijsting.

Die stroken worden ingezaaid met bloemen of planten. Die hebben op hun beurt grote invloed op het leven van insecten, vlinders, vogels en zoogdieren en vormen zo de basis voor een verrijking van de natuur.

What is land edges?

land edges are three, six or nine meters broad counterfoils with flowers or plants which border a land. That breadth of three, six or nine meters has been inferred of the working breadth of agriculture machines and proves in practice a correct half-measure be for a natural picture frame.

Those counterfoils are sown with flowers or plants. Those have large influence on living insecten, butterflies, birds and mammals for their part and form this way the base for an enrichment of nature.
