Kiev-4 and 50/2 collapsible Sonnar - finest soviet rangefinder, and finest german lens?

This is well known soviet rangefinder camera Kiev-4 (№6300504). It came originally with Jupiter-8 lens, but I acquired original, collapsible Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar (№2683486) for reasonable price.

Kazimierz Nowak, Polish traveler, correspondent, reporter and photographer between 1931-36 traveled alone, by bicycle, on foot, on horse, by boat and on camel across Africa. During this trip, he made money on photos sent to the country, which he took thanks to the Contax I. This revolutionary camera he bought from the famous photo company Foto-Greger in Poznań, Poland... and I guess it was sent to him to Africa, after he left Poland.

Basing on Nowaks letter, written during his trip, I think that he was using 5cm Sonnar (he traced the diameter of the filter with a pen after it had clumped during the journey).
