A row of seven mostly unidentifiable but withdrawn and temporarily stored locomotives along with an LMS design Goods Brake van (pictured in the former LNER Hull Goods Yard) wait their turn to enter the nearby Neptune Street scrapyard of Albert Draper & Son Ltd - c.18/03/1968.

Visible are three Riddles "Austerity" WD 2-8-0s with chimney-less 90430 (latterly of Normanton 55E depot) nearest the camera, a couple of Stanier LMS Class 5 4-6-0s and solitary examples of Fairburn Class 4 2-6-4T (42251)  & Stanier 8F 2-8-0.

Above and just to the right of 90430 is the West Dock Avenue premises of Industrial & Maritime Riggers Ltd, whilst the structure with the multiple vents which dominates the skyline is one of the many local fish curing houses.  I'm not quite sure of the identity of the large building which sits between the two, but it could possibly be the one time Liverpool Street tram/bus depot or maybe the Eureka cinema.
